Quilts
With basic sewing skills in my back pocket, I started quilting in the late 70’s in California. I was fortunate to be in the Bay Area and got hooked into active and innovative quilt groups and individuals that were changing and challenging long held traditional quilting styles and launched the early days of art quilting. I’ve made a few traditional pieces, but was inspired by the fresh look of non-traditional work. My work has evolved over the years and now includes, painted/dyed fabrics, ripped fabric and raw edges, photography, and free-motion quilting.
