Paintings

I’ve been applying paint to furniture, clothing, yardage, and walls for many years. The current focus on painting with acrylics started with a pile of drop cloths. They had been used as the sides of Artgirlz trade show booths. I combined the drop clothes and a collection of old craft paints to create a series that is hanging on the public side of our fence. This led me to an interest in developing a better understanding of painting in general, exploring abstract techniques, and jumping into color studies. I have been practicing, learning, letting go, adding and subtracting ever since.
