Textile Collage

These pieces incorporate cut and torn scraps of fabric, including cottons that have been stamped, screened, gel printed, painted. They are held together with straight and free-motion machine stitching and hand embroidery.

From Garden to Fabric

Photos of the dolls have been collected over 25 years as we recorded the changes in our gardens. They were edited, formatted and printed via Spoonflower. The printed fabrics then became the centerpieces for the 24 x 24 inch fabric collages that incorporate and hand printed and painted fabrics. Free motion machine quilting and hand embroidery were combined to finish the pieces.
